Our counselors are encouraging and supportive of those who face anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. We are passionate about helping older teens and adults in individual therapy.
Some things to know about our practice:
We use solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral approaches.
We do not provide counseling for couples.
We offer both in-person and virtual appointments.
We accept most medical insurance plans. These include Anthem BCBS, Medical Mutual, Aetna, Cigna, Paramount, Optum, and United Healthcare/UMR. We also accept Ohio Marketplace and Ohio Medicaid plans: Ambetter, Buckeye, Caresource, Molina and United Health Care.

Stress in any form can make a person feel anxious, depressed and irritable. We’ve all been there! Often, stress wears on us, and can
lead us to make poor choices for ourselves. This can lead to relationship problems, work or school difficulties and even make us more
vulnerable to illness. Counseling Awareness is a group of licensed professional counselors specializing in helping people feel more
