Will insurance cover my Sessions?
Most often, insurance WILL cover a portion of your sessions if the need for treatment is medically necessary. You may be subject to a deductible or co-pay, just like when you visit your family doctor. Please have your insurance information available when you call and we will help you understand your benefits.
Do you offer marriage or couples counseling?
We do not offer those services at this time.
Do you do family counseling?
We do not offer those services at this time.
Do you see children?
Yes, we see youth age 12 and up who are experiencing adjustments, anxiety or depression.
We do not work with behavior problems, Adhd, or high risk issues.
Who are you In-Network with?
Counseling Awareness Center is contracted with many EAP’s (Employee Assistance Plans) and we accept most major medical insurance plans, as well as Medicaid Managed Care. (Anthem, Caresource, United Healthcare, Buckeye, Molina). We also accept Ambetter, Molina and Caresource Marketplace plans from Healthcare.gov.
Please be aware that not every counselor accepts every insurance.
When you complete our new client intake form, we will match you with a counselor who accepts your insurance.
Do you see individuals with Medicare?
Unfortunately at this time we are unable to accept Medicare. You may be able to engage in services through self-pay.
What kind of experience do your counselors have?
Several of our counselors have backgrounds in both mental health and addictions. Please see the individual counselors' descriptions to find out more about each provider. We will do our best to match you with a provider who we think will be a good fit for you!
What are your hours?
All sessions are booked by appointment, and each provider has different hours. Some providers start at 8:30 am, and some have appointments available as late as 6pm.
